Learning to Share

Make a Difference through Applying What You Learn

Sharing your faith doesn’t have to be complicated. It's as simple as encouraging a friend, praying for someone, mentioning how God helped you, or walking with a sister through a difficult season. This page helps women understand how to share naturally, confidently, and lovingly. Your faith is not limited to a classroom or Sunday service. It matters in the living room, at your workplace, around your kitchen table, and in your community conversations. By grounding everything we do in Scripture and designing for real life, we help you share your faith with confidence and clarity.

Our goal is to encourage and equip you to share the Good News with everyone you meet.

Check out our monthly devotions for detailed inspiration and reflection on ways to apply Biblical truths to helping those around you.

Sharing Across the Lifespan

Youth

Discipling children requires simplicity, creativity, and consistency. Kids learn through stories, repetition, hands-on activities, and watching how you live out your faith each day. Your example often teaches more than your words. Sharing with children might look like reading Bible stories together, praying over daily moments, using object lessons, or having short conversations that connect faith to their world. The goal is to plant seeds of truth in ways that feel safe, loving, and easy for them to understand.

Adults

Discipling adults involves deeper conversation, practical guidance, and walking alongside someone through real-life challenges. Adults grow through honest dialogue, shared experiences, accountability, and applying Scripture to their decisions and relationships. Sharing your faith with adults might include testimony, Bible study, meaningful questions, or support during difficult seasons. The goal is to journey together toward spiritual maturity, encouraging one another to follow Christ with intention and purpose.

Leading a Bible Study

Starting a Bible study doesn’t have to be complicated. Begin with what you have and grow from there. Choose a Scripture passage or short reading plan, invite one or two people who are open to learning, and set a consistent time to meet, even if it’s just once a month. Keep the atmosphere relaxed and prayerful. Ask simple questions like What stood out to you? or How can we live this out this week? You don’t need to be an expert—just create space for God to speak through His Word and through the group. The Holy Spirit will guide the conversation as you stay open, humble, and willing.

tips for starting your own Bible Study

  • Think about your audience and their needs.

  • Consider a topic, theme, or book you may want to study or let the group vote on one.

  • Pick a date, time, and location that is suitable for most participants.

  • Consider follow-up materials or communication that can ensure your participants feel supported.

FAQs

Does sharing in a group or with an individual make you nervous? If so, let's tackle some of the questions that may be on your mind!

Why is sharing important?

Sharing is more than conversation. It is a form of ministry. When a woman shares her story, her testimony, or her learned wisdom, she becomes a vessel for connection and transformation.

How does sharing impact spiritual growth?

Sharing allows God to use your testimony to encourage someone else, while helping you become more aware of His work in your own heart.

I don’t feel like I have anything worth sharing. What should I do?

Every woman has a story, a lesson, a moment of healing, or a piece of wisdom shaped by her walk with Christ. Take a moment to reflect on God's presence in your life. Even a small experience can be meaningful to someone else. God uses ordinary moments to produce extraordinary impact.

What if I’m afraid of oversharing or being too vulnerable?

We encourage women to practice balanced communication, which means sharing honestly without exposing parts of your story before you’re ready. If you’re unsure, ask God for wisdom. He will guide you to the right time, the right sisters, and the right words.

How can I grow more confident in sharing with others?

Confidence grows through practice and positive experiences. Start small—share a Scripture that encouraged you, a simple praise report, or something God taught you recently. These small steps build your communication skills and help you become more comfortable.

How do I know what is appropriate to share in a group or with an individual?

Consider the people and the context in which you are sharing. Ask yourself,

-Will this uplift or burden the listener?

-Is this story honoring to myself, others, and the Lord?

-Is this the right setting or do I need a more private conversation?

What if I prefer to listen rather than talk? Is sharing still for me?

Listening is actually a form of sharing. You're sharing your presence, your attention, and your compassion. Some of the most impactful women in ministry are women who speak rarely but listen deeply. However, we still encourage gentle expression, because your voice matters. Even a short reflection, a prayer, or a simple affirmation can be meaningful. Sharing doesn’t have to be long or emotional. It just needs to be sincere.
